In a career encompassing over 60 movies, Paul Gleason is instantly recognizable as a result of many blockbuster feature
films. Unforgettable as the angry high school principal Richard Vernon in The Breakfast Club, Paul has made many lasting impressions,
co-starring in Trading Places, Die Hard, Tender Mercies, Arthur, The Pursuit of D.B. Cooper, The Great Santini, Night Game,
Miami Blues, Morgan Stewart's Coming Home, Johnny Be Good, Shadow Conspiracy, Money Talks, and National Lampoon's Van Wilder
among others.
Beginning with two seasons on the Ozzie and Harriet Show in the early 60's, Paul has had numerous guest starring roles
in such classic series as Dallas, Cagney & Lacey, Falcon Crest, Hill Street Blues, Columbo, McCloud, Adam 12, Mission
Impossible, The FBI,Kate & Allie, Melrose Place, Murder She Wrote, Beauty & The Beast, Magnum P.I. and Miami Vice.
More recently, he has performed guest shots in Friends, Seinfeld, L.A. Law, Newsradio, Walker Texas Ranger, Dead Last,
The Guardian, Chicago Hope, Grace Under Fire, The Drew Carey Show, Nash Bridges, Tales From The Crypt, The District, The George
Lopez Show, and was a regular on One West Waikiki and Lost on Earth.
Paul has also appeared prominently in such television movies as The Fourth Story, B.L. Stryker, Spooner, Women at West
Point, Red Letters, and Ike: The War Years.
Paul has performed in the theatre both On and Off-Broadway, including such productions as One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest,
Neil Simon's The Gingerbread Lady, The Front Page, Valentine's Day, and The Chain, the last play directed by Elia Kazan.
A native of Miami, Florida, Paul was anerstwhile athlete at Florida State University and played Minor League baseball
in the Cleveland Indian and Boston Red Soxfarm systems. He currently resides in Southern California.
